Flow Charting

Flow Charting is a type of diagram that represents in visual format a sequence of events, processing steps, and/or decisions. Originally approved as an ANSI standard, flow charting includes a very simple and small set of symbols, which are not standardized; it facilitates “quick capture” of process flow.
